Enforce regulations already in place regarding firearms. If current regulations were EFFECTIVELY enforced there would be no need for further legislative action regarding firearms. The problem with firearms regulations is not the regulation themselves but the enforcement of said rules and regulations. With current policies being poorly enforced, any future policies look to have the same treatment and outcome and ultimately being in-effective. New legislation regarding firearms will ONLY affect law-abiding citizens, by increasing the difficulty of exercising their Right to Keep and Bear Arms. Legislation does nothing to stop criminals and the mentally disturbed without being properly ENFORCED.
