The children of the united states of america deserve to be educated on firearms and the safe use of them. Children whos parents do not hunt or use firearms miss the opportunity to learn safe handling of firearms and the damage that can be done by misuse. I propose that we introduce courses at the elementary level to teach the youth of our nation not only the importance of our right to own and bear arms but also the safe handling and proper use of firearms.
