The path for future sustained success, and immediate job creation, can be done using the current Job Stimulus package funds, and the Unemployment package funds.
Directing these funds into sponsored internships does 4 things:
1) It still gives people money to survive and live.
2) It eliminates gaps in a persons' employment history.
3) It allows for those without job skills or job history to gain them.
4) It will give people hope in a better future.
5) It allows large, medium, and small business the flexibility in sampling new workers and ideas without the overhead by a) lessening interns to no more than 30 hours a week b) allows companies greater resources for innovation and risk.
