Promote homosexual acts among teenagers to reduce teenage pregnancies

Created by H.E. on September 27, 2011

Teenage pregnancies is serious issue in America today. Despite efforts of safe-sex education and abstinence education – the number of new teenage pregnancies remains high.

A complement to existing efforts would be to promote homosexual acts among teenagers (or rather same-sex sexual acts, as one does not have to identify as homosexual). Sexual acts between two people of the same sex does not result in a pregnancy.

Encouraging teenagers to experiment and explore their sexuality through same-sex interaction, as opposed to opposite-sex interaction, will divert them from high-pregnancy-risk sexual acts – to no-pregnancy-risk sexual acts.

Promotion could include promoting in school in class, through public outreach campaigns, through federal funding of same-sex organizations and activities.
