Promote increased NASA funding and National Science Foundation grants giving students a jobs pipeline.

Created by K.M. on March 28, 2012

Funding has dried up for new space science initiatives because 1) multi-billion dollar programs like the James Webb Telescope have monolized NASA funding and siphoned off funds from current already funded projects, 2) the human spaceflight program is in dissaray. Private company funding is limited, because projects are directed to create profit for investors. Science education lags the rest of the world, Along with increasing science education, students need a viable jobs pipeline. NASA discoveries constantly fuel private companies, which create more jobs as these discoveries are passed on to consumers. A win-win for everyone. If the future is to be powered by science, and we need to create more jobs, increasing NASA and science education funding is a good investment for all.
