Simply write legislation that will overturn the Supreme Court decision earlier this year that defined a Corporation as person, thus allowing unlimited contribution to political persons and causes under the First Amendment. President Obama mentioned this decision as extremely poor in the 2011 State of the Union address.
This decision certainly plays into the government being under the control of special interest groups and not a government "of the people." This was the original point in the "Occupy Wallstreet" movement, but little has been done about it.
