Each congressman or senator is required to have a website that explains each and every bill on the floor and allows registered voters to submit "yea" or "nay" votes on the issue. Voting totals must be viewable to visitors to the site. Obviously each voter must have a secure password, vote only once on each issue, etc. This change would create more voter involvement and allow the representative to see how his constituencey views each issue. At some future date, these voting totals could be made binding, that is, the voters would decide every issue not the representative, creating an actual democracy.
