In 30 states, including the District of Columbia, the cost for infant child care is higher than a year's tuition and fees at a four-year public university. Such ridiculous prices for child care leave many Americans struggling to make ends meet.
We're petitioning President Obama to expand federal subsidies and expand the current child care tax credit so families and single parents can work while knowing their children are in good hands.
