Promote the Passing of a Constitutional Amendment Limiting Congressional Term Limits

Created by E.R. on April 07, 2013

Many congressmen and congresswomen have served way to long in the United States Congress. This causes Congress to not have the current perspective necesary to properly govern. I petition the Obama Administration to promote the creation of a 28th Constitutional Amendment that would limit United States Senators' terms to two (2), and United States House of Representatives' terms to four (4). This amendment would ensure that Americans would be able to have fresh faces in Congress, eager to represent their constituents. It will also ensure Congressmen and Congresswomen concentrate solely on the country, rather than re-election.
