We believe that both sides to actively engage towards proper relations has been built on an uneasy foundation. That negligence to address this concerning matter now threatens once peaceful relations with a now reformed Russia. Is time for America to rejuvenate that foundation and keep it from eroding.
Peace cannot be built on simply olive branches or bombs, but instead pure, honest action. Action that can bring both countries to a state of newfounded understanding, actions that will ultimately be of service to both the crisis in Ukraine and abroad.
While in citizen's opinion, the annexation of Crimea was certainly uncalled for, we must still remain vigilant towards peaceful resolution without conflict nor strife.
