Promote policy that uses the full capabilities of the US to drill for domestic oil and authorize the keystone pipeline.

Our nation has energy reserves which, if allowed to be fully accessed, would create tens of thousands of new American jobs. At the same time, freeing our nation from any dependency on foreign oil. Such a policy would create revenue from taxes as well as from the sale of oil to other nations. It is imperitive that we end our dependence on middle east oil and once again become the leader of oil production in the world. Such programs would also allow for research and development, to perfect to a profitable level, alternative energy sources such as wind, solar and biofuels. Until these green energy sources become profitable, we must continue to use the proven and profitable fuel sources we are so bountifully blessed with.
