Each year dozens of Americans are attacked and killed by velociraptors. Studies have shown that 99% of victims mistakenly believe that "it won't happen to them," or that "dinosaurs are extinct, man." A 1993 study by MIT found that people trapped on a tropical island with dinosaurs cloned by an eccentric billionaire for the purposes of establishing a theme park were 1,272 times more likely to die from velociraptor attacks than from diabetes, heart disease, or cancer.
A recent poll by Dinosaur Weekly found that nearly 9 out of 10 Americans were unaware that velociraptor attacks were the 73rd leading cause of death among young adults. We believe that the White House can help to stem this bloody tide by promoting awareness of velociraptor attacks (as well as the need for stronger door locks).
