There is a very vocal MINORITY demanding NO gun regulation. While most Americans support gun ownership, most also support reasonable gun regulation. The assault weapons ban of the 90's must be reinstated and improved upon. Strict weapon's training must be a requirement to own a gun. After all, we don't let anybody have a driver's licence. We don't let anybody practice medicine, so why do we expect everybody to act like a cop, owning and operating a firearm with little formal training.
This is NOTa call to ban all firearms, this is a call for sensible gun regulation in light of all the recent carnage throughout our country. It t's only one piece of the puzzle when it comes to preventing gun deaths, but it's a very important pie. We risk so many death with our inaction.
