Promote racial and ethnic equality by removing Race/Ethnicity checkboxes or questions from government forms.

Created by J.F. on November 13, 2012

In an age of supposed equality government programs still offer incentives and aid to minorities instead of a need-by-need basis. In order to promote racial equality and enforce the "American Dream" of being able to achieve anything if one works hard enough. This petition ask the government to remove any checkboxes or questions related to race/ethnicity from aid/incentive forms as well as government job applications as race does not determine ones abilities or needs. This is so that each situation may be given proper examination without ones race being pointed out as a factor or being called into question. if aid is truly needed it should be given regarldess of ones race/ethnicity. We also wish gender checkboxes to be removed from job applications in order to promote gender equality.
