Promote Religious Equality for All Veterans and All Americans

Created by B.H. on April 10, 2014

According to the L.A. TImes, the Obama administration is going to defend the cross on top of San Diego's Mount Soledad.

Is the memorial only to honor Christian veterans of the United States? Or is it suppose to honor all veterans, whether Christian, Jew, Buddhist, Muslim, or any other religion, or atheist?

The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs provide many non-Christian symbols on headstones They would not force putting a cross on a marker for a non-Christian would they? Two WW II Medal of Honor recipients, Joe Hayashi and Ted T. Tanouye were Buddhists and their markers have the Wheel of Dharma, not a cross.

I would like the Obama administration to not defend having the Christian cross on public property and to promote religious equality for all U.S. veterans and all American
