Promote research into the Liquid Fluoride Thorium Reactor

Created by E.W. on August 09, 2012

The LFTR is a liquid fuel nuclear reactor that uses thorium as fuel. This reactor is both meltdown proof and proliferation proof. The LFTR also produces 1,000-10,000 times less nuclear waste than a solid fuel reactor. This waste also decays 100-1,000 times faster, being completely safe within 300 years.

The LFTR is a completely safe, carbon-free, low waste, cheap alternative to coal.
