This is to launch a petition, asking the administration to promote the use of only a single name when they refer to each sea, in the international community. Name should be based on the officially used name in IMO.
The reason of this new petition is to calm down some countries and bring the peace to the international community. I noted that a few countries are still voicing dissatisfaction with the naming of sea. This situation is not productive for the whole international community including the United States.
Although we cannot stop nomenclature by each country for its domestic use, the United States, as the most respected global leading country, should lead the whole international community to let them focus on more critical issues such as global security and environmental issues.
