promptly respond to petitions that have attained the required number of signatures within thirty (30) days.

This is a petition to require the administration to promptly respond to petitions upon reaching the threshold of signatures required (which, of course, has been raised numerous times to help reduce the frivolous and silly petitions.). The current administration started this program as a means to "hear" the concerns of the "People." No matter how silly a petition may sound to any one of us, to the originator it is indeed a very important matter. If the required number of signatures has been met, it demands a response. Some open petitions have reached the required number of signatures over three years ago with still no responses. This is an unsatisfactory condition. This petition seeks to impose a thirty (30) day time limit for response to petitions from the administration.
