For every rule there has to be a reason.
If politicians/president wants to ban guns then they need to provide proof behind their allegations. That making guns harder to get or illegal makes the crime rate drop. This is not a new concept. It has been done before and is being practiced in countries across the world. There is overwhelming evidence provided to make a logical and rational decision. They also need to look at the crime as a whole not just the crime rate for guns. If they still feel like guns are too dangerous for the public, then they need to ban everything that has the same ratio of homicides or higher as well.
