1. Some 300000 gun crimes are committed in the U.S. annually.
2. That would = (distribution) 6000 per state.
State autonomy-
1. States responsible for/ autonomous in keeping gun crimes below cap (6,000).
2. If states fail in concerted efforts, the Federal gov't. intervenes.
Fed. Regulation-
1. Comprehensive background checks, to include:
a). Felony offenders (including juvenile offenses) relinquish firearms to state officials.
b). FFL dealer required in all gun transactions.
c). A release from an LPCC for any gun acquisition.
d). Members of household must be cleared by same LPCC.
e). Citizens are prepared for exorbitant efforts/fees as resulting from above.
*In said states, it will be a class C Felony to acquire guns over state lines (6 mts. incarceration, fines, no guns EVER)
