Proposal to Increase Military Personnel Compensation Acceptable to the People of the United States of America

Created by R.F. on August 31, 2015

My full proposal cannot fit within the 800 characters allotted. I am sending my 19-page report to Congress and the POTUS.

Please see SOME of my many conclusions.

The United States Congress must change their position on accepting the 1.3% pay increase for all military personnel.

The United States Department of Defense Fiscal Year 2016 Budget Request clearly states that this pay increase is “less than the 2.3% under the formula in current law.”

During the two preceding years, the pay increase for military personnel was 1.0% each yr.

The People request a 3.5% pay raise, for the budget governing all military personnel, to first, meet the 2.3% minimum raise “in current law” and second, to compensate for the two consecutive years of 1.0% pay raises from FY2014-15 and the 1% 5-yr avg.
