It's time for We The People to take our nation back!
The founding fathers of America put a system of checks and balances into our national Constitution to insure that no one branch of government becomes too powerful at the expense of the others. However, there was no mechanism put in place for citizens to directly keep their government in check. This Amendment to The Constitution would do just that.
This 28th Amendment would read, in part:
"Citizens of the various states, by an average of the legal requirements of the various states supporting initiative processes, shall be allowed to both introduce and vote on national legislation by directly ballot. Any legislation passed will become law, unless vetoed by a 2/3 majority in both the House of Representatives and The Senate."
