Propose a 28th Ammendment To The Constitution to Ensure Laws Passed By Congress Apply Equally To All US Citizens

Created by V.M. on March 19, 2012

I Propose the following be adopted as the 28th Ammendment to the Constitution of the Unites States:

Proposed 28th Amendment to the United States Constitution: "Congress shall make no law that applies to the citizens of the United States that does not apply equally to the Senators and/or Representatives; and, Congress shall make no law that applies to the Senators and/or Representatives that does not apply equally to the citizens of the United States ."

Our political system has generated many laws that do not apply equally to our politicians and lawmakers as it does to the rest of the United States people. One example is our Military personnel are serving 20 years protecting our country and only receiving 1/2 of their pay for retirement yet Congress receives 100% after only one term.
