The Confederate States of America committed the ultimate treason against the United States when they seceded from the country. Their betrayal because they wanted to hold onto their "right" to keep people enslaved on plantations should no longer be honored anywhere in the United States with the use of landmarks or flags. Any support for these in honor of the Confederacy should be treated as traitors and charged with treason.
