Propose an amendment to Article 1 of the Constitution, imposing term limits on all elected members of the House & Senate

Created by J.C. on September 02, 2014

In an effort to make our congress useful, accountable, and less corrupt - I propose that imposing term limits would be a viable way to accomplish this task.

Of the more than 3,900 bills introduced, lawmakers have adopted just 147 this year—a passage rate of less than 4%. It is worth noting that 32 of the successful bills involved the naming of post offices and other buildings, while many others were of similar import.

We need to hold congress accountable for such inefficiency and partisan stalling.
