National elections are being funded by large amounts of money from corporations and ultra-rich individuals. Based on current laws,first amendment rights, and US Supreme Court rulings,there are no limits to these amounts. This permits the 1% wealth of the country to unfairly choose and promote a candidate. The amendment would establish limits for these types of donations, whether to a candidate or a political action committee. The amendment should also make all of these donations transparent.
