America needs a system that can trap, collect and store water from major rivers and streams that are prone to flooding and / or can supply more than its area can use. This water would then be partially cleaned of debris and non-indigenous water life through aquifers and filtering systems currently used by major cities for sanitation and water reclamation.
It is envisioned that this system would take about 20 to 30 years to complete the first phases and employ tens of thousands of workers and professionals, all USA jobs. Instead of funding hundreds of billions to foreign wars, this money would be used to build new infrastructure and protect our future.
