Propose and push a 6% pay increase for all active, reserve and guard service members beginning January 1, 2014 as well as permanently lock in a 3.5% increase every year thereafter. Part 2 of this proposal is to lock in military pay where its guaranteed to be paid to all service members for as long as there is a country to be governed regardless of gridlock in congress. Military members are being called upon to go above and beyond daily and they are repaid with a 1% increase in salary that doesn't match inflation or the cost of living index while congress approves hefty raises for congressman. Since taking office you have done nothing but neglect your military and at this very moment you are proposing that we go into conflict again. Pay the brave men and women defending our country now!
