Propose and support the Fair Play Trade Act

Created by D.G. on March 11, 2015

This Act is to level the playing field for US companies with competitors from other nations. It will require any companies including subsidiaries who do business with or in the US or to customers in the US to comply with a specified subset of our laws protecting employees, the environment and minimum wages, these laws having been seen to place our companies in an unfair competitive position. The companies would pay for the certification of their compliance with the requirements, in a manner modeled after RoHS and ISO9000 which includes their suppliers and subcontractors. US companies already comply of course. There should be a period of adjustment to begin in three years and to end in ten years for complete compliance.

This act ensures fair competition, but will also benefit the world.
