Propose an Apollo type program to get nuclear fusion reactors up and running within the next decade.

The holy grail of energy production would be clean nuclear fusion reactors. They would greatly reduce our dependence on fossil fuels to meet the worlds energy demands. They would make western civilization more secure in the long run by ending dependence on middle eastern oil. Solar and wind isn't going to cut it unless we build a massive solar farms on BLM land. Then Ammon Bundy and his domestic terrorist friends would occupy and there would be a massive shot out. It would be Waco all over again. Nobody wants that. Except of course Ammon Bundy and his domestic terrorist friends. It is the challenge of our generation to find solutions to problems like global warming and energy independence. With cheap clean energy from nuclear fusion reactors we could turn this world into utopia.
