We the people ask the federal government to Call on Congress to act on an issue:

Propose a bill that allows citizens to take walk-in degree exams.

Created by D.D. on July 06, 2016

Education is the cornerstone of society, and it's vital that all citizens can gain accreditation for their expertise. However, modern education is often mismanaged, and has high barriers to entry. This has spawned a vicious cycle where poorly performing schools get less funding, which leads to ineffective teaching and lower performance. To stymie the ballooning of student debts, the average classroom's size, and the number of laid off teachers, here's a solution.

Propose a bill to Congress for tax funded, walk-in degree exams at all government-funded schools. Citizens should be able to take these exams with no extra charge, so as to maximize the amount of educated people. This will create jobs, increase national productivity, prevent student debt, and save billions of dollars every year.
