Propose a bill before Congress to take the words "under God" out of the Pledge of Allegiance

Created by E.P. on February 02, 2013

Each day millions of children around the country say the Pledge of Allegiance in public schools. Contained within the pledge are the words "under God". The Constitution states in the first amendment that there must be a separation of church and state. Having children say the Pledge in a public school acknowledging a God is a direct attack on the first amendment.

These words are unnecessary and must be taken out in order to ensure a commitment to the Constitution.
