Propose a bill that limits any elected official from fundraising, for political purposes, during their terms.

Created by A.D. on September 27, 2014

All elected officials are suppose to serve the public not fundraise for their own political agenda. There should be limits on elected officials to fundraise for political parties and purposes while they are in office. They are plenty of other people in political parties that can fundraise for themselves. I am including both the republican and democratic parties. The government's job is to serve the public not collect money for personal gain. So much time is wasted for politicians who attend fundraisers for their different political parties. Why not attend a fundraiser for the cure of cancer or do something more productive like focusing on our economy.
