This proposal would reduce the the expectations of lawmakers who retire with hundreds of thousands of dollars in pension and retirement benefits. American citizens are subject to their pensions and retirement benefits being reduced on a whim. Why not force government workers to face the same economic realities? Perhaps we need to elect lawmakers who will carry this out.
