Propose to Congress a Constitutional Amendment to abolish the Electoral College in a Presidential Election.

As of right now, in a Presidential Election, the people cast their votes, which then usually tells their Electors how to vote. Then, the Electoral College casts their vote, and from that the President is elected. There are, however, several ways that this system is undermined, for example "faithless electors", and a winner-takes-all vote. I propose that the presidential election be decided by popular vote, and popular vote alone, with a majority of 51%. In a tie, the vote would still go to the House of Representatives. Americans should have a right to vote for their President based upon a simple popular vote process.
