Propose the Congress & Lobbyist Contact Act, requiring the disclosure of all interaction between lobbyists and Congress.

Many Americans believe that Congress is heavily influenced by organized lobbying groups who are compensated to advance their own interests at the expense of everything else. Lobbyists primary goal is not the welfare of the country or American citizens, but the welfare of their organization at any cost. The Congress & Lobbyist Contact Act would require all Congressman and their staffs to report all interaction between their offices and official and unofficial lobbying groups. Shining a spotlight on this activity would both i) highlight the extent to which Congresspeople dedicate time to being lobbied, and ii) reveal, by virtue of Congress's or Congresspeople's opposition to the Act, whether they are afraid or overly sensitive to their activity being known by the citizens who elected them
