Propose a constitutional amendment to the congress that forces all branches of government to live by the laws they pass.

Created by J.P. on August 07, 2013

The president and his cabinet, and every representative, senator and staffer should be forced to abide by every law that they pass, with NO EXCEPTIONS. Furthermore, we The People would like to propose a constitutional amendment to be presented to the congress that severely restricts the pay and benefits that a representative or senator receives, while simultaneously expanding the rules that require them to physically be in the house or senate chambers for a minimum of 8 hours per day, 5 days per week, and 12 months per year. Being a member of the house or senate is supposed to be a civil service, NOT a career choice. It is when this service becomes a career that those who are supposed to be serving US have their attention diverted away from The People, and towards their own, selfish needs.
