Propose a constitutional amendment to ensure K through 12 class sizes are limited to 15 children.

Created by E.B. on July 20, 2014

Propose a constitutional amendment to require both the Federal and State Governments to ensure that children are provided a high quality education and that class sizes for kindergarten through 12th grade are limited to 15 students per teacher and 15 students per room. This would require that the Federal and state governments fund schools to ensure class and room size limitations.

Some students do well in large classes. Others do not and need individual attention. Education should be a top priority, even above defense, to ensure that our nation does well economically for the coming centuries. But government ignores children when it throws them into overcrowded classrooms. This is wrong, shortsighted, and will ultimately compromise our security.
