Propose a constitutional amendment providing protection from laws regarding sexual orientation or gender identification

Created by D.C. on September 22, 2011

It is every human's basic right to choose their own personal beliefs and definitions of Love, Meaningfulness, and Family. Many states are prosecuting or persecuting men and women for no other reason than their stated sexual orientation or gender identification. These states are explicitly outlawing and segregating large, distinct, and culturally relevant and important sections of our American society by impinging codified morality based on personal beliefs. People, regardless of sexual orientation or gender identification, should be free to choose their personal lifestyle and bring it to realization.
