This amendment will reorganize the senate and the house of representatives to be non-partisan. That is not to say that political parties will be abolished, but rather that one's political party will not be acknowledged in matters of legislation. This will put an end to the "binary" fashion in which Washington operates today. Our lawmakers have completely forgotten that they represent the PEOPLE, and not their party. This needs to stop, and this amendment could bring our government back to a functional status.
