Propose Federal redistricting/apportionment reform that would prevent gerrymandering and restore competitive elections.

Created by T.V. on November 09, 2013

We the people feel that heavily gerrymandered U.S. Congressional and State Congressional districts have damaged the integrity of our electoral system.

We demand that the Federal Government enact legislation that takes the power of redistricting out of the hands of political parties and into the hands of non-partisan commissions.

These commissions will use geographic software instead of voter mapping software to draw the lines for the new districts.

In Ohio alone, the percentage of registered Democrat to Republican voters is 49% (D) and 51% (R). However, the state is represented by 75% (12-4) Republicans in the U.S. House due to heavily gerrymandered districts.

Please help restore fairness to our electoral system and do away with safe districts for both parties.
