propose a Financial Speculation Tax (FST). The FST is a transaction tax that occurs when a stock trade is made.

Created by S.H. on September 26, 2011

The FST is a transaction tax that occurs when a stock trade is made. Each time a transaction is made no matter how many stocks are included or their value, a 25 cent tax is incurred. The result is a lot of money for the government that could go to paying off the debt while causing very little impact to the trader.
