propose a Goods & Service tax on all goods sold in the US with exemptions for "Necessary" and "Nutritional" food items.

Created by J.K. on January 06, 2013

A Goods & Service tax on all goods sold in the U.S.A with exemptions for "Necessary" (ie... diapers, medicine etc...) and "Nutritional" food items (soda, chips, etc... would not apply) would provide the US government a more fair tax policy than what exists today and all of its citizens would pay at least something. Other federal taxes could be reduced or eliminated completely.

Additionally: (1) Eliminate the penny. (2) Require the tax be included in the total price.
