Propose to The House that Basic Allowance for Housing pay for online students be raised to full BAH.

As of 2011 students enrolled in college under the Post 9/11 G.I. Bill do receive partial Basic Allowance for Housing, however, this partial payment is causing veteran's to struggle with finances. That partial payment equaled $673.50 and unfortunately has not increased very much since then. Veteran's who attend classes online, work, and raise families struggle to succeed and in many cases leave school to seek full time employment as a result of this partial pay. This petition is a proposal to the President of the United States to request a change in legislation to the Post 9/11 G.I. Bill, that would increase the housing stipend to full BAH, which campus students already receive. Sincerely, SGT. Homer M. Miller (retired)
