America was founded on the back of the working class, and we those creators of products and commodities are the true heart of america. Over the years more and more businesses import goods and products from overseas to save some money and we have seen this lead to the closings of countless american production facilities and factories, most notably our steel industry!
It seems to me that the simplest answer to bring these manufacturing jobs back to america (which means more people working and more taxes being paid) is simply to impose extremely high border tariffs or taxes for companies that import items that could be made here in america. If through taxes we make it more expensive to buy foreign steel factories re-open and people get back to work.
