Propose a joining of Canada and the United States of America to form the United States of North America.

Created by D.D. on December 18, 2012

Canada is our great neighbor to the north. Relations between our two countries have been, for the longest time, on friendly terms. The passage of people between the two nations is fairly open as it is, and both nations share many similarities with each other. We propose that the United States of America offer the following proposal to Canada: the United States of America joins with Canada to form the United States of North America. Both hold advantages and disadvantages, and when combining the two, both countries can come to an agreement as to how to better run the new nation. We would not be incorporating Canada, nor would they be incorporating us. It would strengthen economic, military, environmental, and most other ties held between the two countries. It would benefit us all.
