propose a law capping the maximum individual federal tax rate at 30% of total income.

Created by R.H. on May 21, 2012

The tax burden falls on far too few. Those that are paying taxes are paying far more than they should for government services received. This single-minded focus on the "1%" is tampering with our entrepreneurial motives and is killing American jobs.

Instead, we need to provide incentives to take risk. Capping the maximum federal tax rate (including SS, FICA & medicare) at 30% would take the financial focus off the few that can make a difference and develop future executives. In the end, more jobs will be created, the wealth is "spread around" and the general welfare is assured.
