I would like to propose that the United States Government enact a law that would provide a day to be set aside as National Anti-Terrorism Day. Proposed dates that came to mind are May 2nd, May 21st (recognized in India as Anti-Terrorism Day), Sept. 11th, or any other day that would be agreed upon by the legislators. There are several days in the year that people in different regions affected by both foreign and domestic terrorist tragedies come together to honor and remember people lost by these acts. There should be a day celebrated by not just Americans, but by anyone in the world that wished to stand up and say, "We will not bow to people who resort to terrorism to get what they want." A day that will be recognized as showing our resolution against them.
