We the people ask the federal government to Call on Congress to act on an issue:

Propose a law that makes it mandatory for hospitals to list all of their service and itemized prices

Created by J.N. on May 06, 2016

Hospitals need to make their prices readily available to the public in an easily accessible format; i.e. on their website. If we are going to keep health care in the private sector and allow companies to make outrageous profit margins at the cost of our health, we should at least be able to compare prices with other hospitals. Like every other private company, they should list the prices of their services so consumers can review their options and make the best decision for their circumstance.

I encourage you to watch the following video as to why our government should make this a federal law.
