The American police force is infested with bad actors, who use the badge to control, harass and kill people who don't look like them. The numbers show that officer-involved shootings with a black officer and a black suspect are a rarity. I know this will be seen as segregationist but our communities are already segregated.
The police force has always been a tool used to control Blacks. And just like 100 years ago, members of the Ku Klux Klan and people who think like them continue to find shelter behind the "blue wall of silence".
I know that this is not a cure all, but I do believe that it will cut down on Blacks being murdered at the hands of white officers. I also believe that this strategy will lessen the distrust between Blacks and law enforcement ultimately resulting in less crime.
